I got a flatbed trailer coming tonight to take my Lincoln to a mustang shop. Its been sitting since November, the car is slammed because it's so cold here. I can't start it because it is pissing coolant. It's been sitting in my shop that's not heated, I don't just want to hop in the car and turn the ignition on so the bags fill do i? I think it's waaay to cold and the compressor will hit the sh!ts.

How should I go about this?

charge the battery, or jump, and then run the compressor. should be alright if its only once.

Put some coolant in, jump it run your compressor.

Mine runs the compressor all the time cold.

Couple weeks ago it was -26 c the compressor ran fine.

Well the car is gone to the shop, the compressor would kick on for 5 seconds then stop oh well. J-mod, exhaust, gears, chip, Mach 1 chin spoiler and the pissing coolant issue is getting done, can't wait!

If it only runs for 5 seconds it's got problems. How long did it take to raise the car?

i don't think the compressor will run if the battery is too low, like a low battery being charged.
last time my alternator quit the air ride didn't work. no pump at all. new alternator and it lifted right up.

Dont forget! next time, if you didn't want the compressor to run, you can always shut the air ride switch to OFF

shoot. if it stays up for more than a week in the cold without being aired up its doing pretty darn well.

If it goes down, cold or not it has a leak.
Mine stays up and its dam cold.

Brandon stored his CE last year all winter and it never dropped.

He has a leak.

Interesting cause last year my Gen2 was squatting after sitting overnight and not that cold either? Now it has sat for 2 days in the COLD covered in ice and no drop at all

Love the Air Bags and hate em at the same time :shifty:
