Our Mark has 44,000 on it. I only drive it when we're on Fla. The MICHELINS that are on it are 6yrs. old. They were put on right around 30,000. I can only see REAL REAL FINE cracks just in side the first row of tread,,NONE in further or middle WHAT DO YA THINK???

I saw a story this year about a women who had 6yr old tires on her explorer that she bought new. and she died when she got into an accident cause of the tires.

I think you should be fine but if you have the money get new ones and do some nice big burnouts on the old ones

lol my buddy john had an old crown vic cop car, 86, retired car, his back tires were bald after abuse so we were on our way to get two new tires at pep boys, i talked him into taking a back country road so we could really finish them tires off, like splits belts sticking out, but in our journey of mad smoke shows the tranny exploded, the tail shaft busted right off the gearbox and fluid went everywhere. it was soooooooooooooo funny to me, but he was nearly in tears, needless to say, no tires went on the car, instead a used tranny went in it! dont burn off the old tires, just drive it like you always do and go get new tires lol!
