What have I done? :)

Ok back to the progress. Slow progress but progress none the less.

Got the Flywheel and Clutch installed yesterday... Hopefully next weekend the trans will go up (If I keep saying it, it will happen ).

Got some more done last weekend. It's actually looking like this might get done. :D

because if you retained the stock shifter location 1st gear would be under the dash. Its basically an extension so the shifter sits in the right place in the console.

Every time I see this thread I have to re-thing ... is he saying he phucked it up ... or this this a progress report on how it's all coming along LOL ...

So Derrick don't phuck it up ... :D

I really want to see pics of how the "double shifters" work... I've got an idea, but not sure if it's what you guys do to them...

Did the same thing in my MGA. I used a Ford ball joint to make the rear shifter base.

it uses roller blade bearings between the angle iron not the best looking but it takes a beating and keeps on shifting.

Thanks for the pictures, and the link.

I would imagine, that a nice mildly heavy duty double ended heim joint with some washers and torringtons bearings would work better, and have adjustability with the shifter being too far forward or backward.

As far as T5/T45 shifters go... I LOVE my B&M Pro Ripper... best shifter ever...

Edit:

Thinking about it, with the spherical ends, that might not work soo well... but something with similar "eyelet" ends without the spherical parts would be ideal
