I believe it would be better to get a rifle, Deer season in Germany would be a lot safer for other motorist.

140 mph deer hunting. That's an expensive hobby.

Thought you might have some appreciation for this!!! Notice the minimal structural damage to the car.

That is awesome!! Look how it didn't seem to affect the radiator supprt and all, amazing carnage and very interesting too.
 
how the hell did that deer squeeze into that small opening??.. im curious how the hood looks.. im thinking smaller deer ..

there is no way its a deer unless it is a baby, maybe it was a fox or coyote or its fake all together, its really hard to believe thats all you can see, i mean, where the hell is the engine? i see guts anf fur and the engine cover, but there would be nowhere for the engine if that is real, unless it broke through the block on impact, i dont think the engine cover would be sitting there the way it is if all that meat really is packed in there, because the engine block would have propelled it upward even with the hood closed it would have humped the hood up big time. i tend to think its fake, or if it is real its not a deer or it was a fawn.
 
indeed, it does look fake. it is definitely something small enough to fit through the grille, cuz it looks like thats what happened.
 
:( Reindeer staged a sit down protest on Germany's Autobahn yesterday after the death of the beloved Rudolth the red nose reindeer. They said his nose blinked twice and now it's out forever! The next protest will be at the home of the president of BMW! :( :(

If you hunt and have seen alot of dead animals, that is not fake. It might not be a deer, but the blood and stomach contents sprayed on the cowl are not fake. If you think it's fake then hollywood has screwed your head pretty good. And I seriously doubt anyone here in america can comprehend a deer accident at 140mph. At 140mph the force will be quadrupled compared to 70mph.
 
While looking for the truth, which I could not verify. Their was speculation in the BMW forums that it was a fox/dog. In my travels I found a deer/car accident that has to be one of the scariest ones I've ever seen.

It was a fox, I remember seeing it in the new somewhere. A deam impact would have done far more damage to the car, especially at 140mph. Deer are also generally too high off the ground to be smashed through the grill, but a fox would fit perfectly.
 
But Dereck from the UK posted a pic of a deer he shot last deer season... it was no bigger than a large lab...

Not that it couldn't be a fox.. but a fox is so small I doubt it would come up to the grill... Doesn't really matter.. that was a mess...

ok..but 1 question for ya ....why were u doing 140mph....and do u think if a deer went threw there,,what would a small child do.....try slowin down or bring it to a track where it belongs.....
 
who would let there kid play on the freeway I think that is more of a
problem than doing 140
