What do you think...first off I know it's expensive d

What makes you think that is better than factory? I would suspect the opposite.

Either way price seems pretty high...

Jus browsing options as to what I'm gonna do with my car as the air ride is at the end of its useable/reliable life

If I keep air ride I'm out $850 plus shipping just for the front shocks and another $200+ for compressor, dryer and relay...rear air bags in not worried about have 6 laying around and there less likely to fail...it should in theory give me another 10yrs trouble free which is unlikely I'll have it that long...or coil spring swap done for less the $700

Seen this kit and it just caught my eye...I guess if one was really serious more details would defiently be ironed out before purchase

Shoot if I go coils it will be 100 bucks max for whole deal.

Make me a front spring with a interchangeable shock and i'm sold. I honestly love an air controlled suspension. It is actually a very good design for a spring(most new 80,000 cars are now using it). The car will always be the same height so you aren't changing the alignment if you have 300lb of passengers in the back. Less unsprung weight too. It's the shock absorber that creates the ride. I wish someone would sell front koni adjustable shocks with air bags for our car. I know i will be getting the koni adjustable shock in the back soon.

I'm all for American Air when it comes to some things but the price of his front air shocks are way too pricey for me. $425 per side, compared to $311 & $305 is a pretty big difference. Shipping to Canada is what's getting you. If you knew someone close to the border that you could have them shipped to in the US and then drive to pick them up would be ideal. I don't know how long it would take for you to reach the border but it might be worth the drive. They are Gen 2 style and are new Motorcrafts. The price you see now will rise soon. They were around $285 or so and have went up to the low $300's for each.

stay far away from that ****ty kit. airbagit.com has the worst products and horrable customer service. i peiced mine together getting the parts i wanted and idont have more than 800 in all of my air ride. now the fab side if you have done alot of it like i have its easy otherwise its not going to be much fun for you. some of you mentioned that you dont think it would be any more reliable than the factory air ride, whys that? i installed mine a year and a half ago anf havent touched it since. then some said the handleing would suck, also why? with it being to where you can adjust every aspect of the spring rate and height your handleing will be better as you can set it to where it needs to be to cut corners or ride like its on rails. then some said well how do you know what height your at? we easy you can ether install guages then set the height you want and get out and look at it and remember that air pressure or like me you dont run gauges and you just get a feel for it then after a bit you know the exact height you are from in the car. alot of people have bad opinions on air ride but that fact is they dont know **** about a good quality job because all they have seen are ****ty hack jobs.

I would suggest lurking the S10 forums and piecing it together yourself

That's awesome...what did you use in the front?
That's the kind of control I'd like to have if I was to keep air ride

Others have used bags like the rears in the fronts...not sure on how they were mounted.

ive personally only seen one oter done with a double convoulted bag in the front and it used a big bag cup like you would in the rear. this white car im assuming as it dosent lay out is on all the stock bags just with valves added in. mine is on dominator 2500 pound bags in the rear and modifiyed to lay out flat stock fronts with the vlaves and all that added to it
