Agreed, if you want bright, I would go with 5000K or 6000K. I can't speak about 4300K because I have never personally seen what they look like but I have had 5000K, 6000K, 8000K, 10,000K and 12,000K in new housings and I settled with 10K in the lows and 6K in the highs but I never need the highs for any reason, or haven't yet anyway. 4300K is supposed to be closest to factory as you can get but aftermarket is going to be brighter anyway.
Don't make the mistake and put in 12,000K or you'll be seeing everything in purple.
This is 12,000K lows only.
This is 6000K lows
This is 8000K lows
I have pics somewhere of the 10K but it's real close to the 8K look but to me, it seems a bit brighter with a slight blue tint. If they were oncoming, they do look to be blue. I tried getting all these pics on the same street, in the same spot. I need to get one with 10K since that's what I stuck with. Some call it "ricer" but I can see very good and to me, as long as I don't have a fart can muffler and can outrun the little ricers, I don't give a :q:q:q:q.
I do have a pic of 10K from my 94 and if you look to the left, you can see the yellow halogens in the first pic.
