What Cell Phone Do You Have?

The wife and I are in need of a better carrier with a good plan and new phones. Just wondering what every one else has, and If they like the company or the phones. If not tell me why.

Right now the wife has Verizon (70/month for unlimited text w/400/min) and I have T-Mobile (52/month for 400 txt and 1000/min). We like the sprint unlimited package (unlimited internet/TV/GPS/Txt with 1500 shared/min) all for $100 with a 2 yr contract. We don’t go over our min ever so 1500 is plenty.

What do you guys think? The actual coverage at our house sucks no matter the carrier, we are just going to get a booster antenna once we figure out the plan we want.
 
I have Verizon, I have 1400 mins, unlimited text and unlimited internet and my bill is 150 everymonth. u also qualify for a 20 percent discount with your military affiliation and 25 percent on accesories.
 
i have sprint and the service is great. the only thing i don't like is that they aren't gsm so i can't just go get a new phone, pop the sim card in, and be good to go. i have to activate it, etc. which is more work then i want to do to upgrade. tmobile was great when i used to have them, but i didn't get as good of a signal as i do with sprint. they also tried screwing me on my bill. they tried calling me overage fee's for a 45 minute phone call that was made during my unlimited nights and weekends. it took almost a month for me to clear it up with them and i didn't have service for a week because of it. at&t was overall the worst carrier i ever had. i would suggest going with sprint.
 
We just switched from T-Mobile to Sprint. We got the unlimited package with the Blackberry Curve. I have been very happy with my coverage so far. I'm one of the only people at work that gets a signal all the time anywhere in my building. Never got a signal in the building with T-Mobile.
 
i have nextel with the blackberry curve an i hate the service but my job uses nextel so thats what i have.
 
I have AT&T right now, coming up on the end of my two year contract. I still have my original Blackjack, love that phone. I think I'm going with the E71x next time around.
I like At&T because they seem to have the best phones on the market. I'm tired of the music phones that sound like porn names from Verizon.

I have the Blackberry Storm, worst purchase ever in the history of the universe! do not buy the Blackberry Storm! They look good though.
 
I have had Sprint for 5 years.
Service is based out of the U.S. so getting anyone to help you can be hard.

You won't need service much because everything works, but if you upgrade a phone or change your service you will be screwed.

Don't sign a two year unless you have to.
Once your free of a contract they will bend over to keep you.
Right now I have the unlimted plan and they gave me a 25% discount to keep me.
They have a deal with Delta employees and they will give you the same deal if you beat on them to make the plan cheaper.

And KD, my man... in the grand scheme of things, AT&T doesn't have jack for phones.

Check out expansys.com ( I think ), and see all the cool phones that ATT doesn't carry. Granted, they are a bit more expensive because they are unlocked, and aren't subsidized, but most GSM phones will work on AT&T. 3G and all.

Are you saying compared to other companies or just in general for the phones that are out there?
 
Just in general for phones out there. You have to understand, AT&T doesn't make any of their phones. They just get deals with certain manufacturers, who brand them with the AT&T logo before they ship them out.

From my experience, I think AT&T coverage is crap when it comes to coverage. Of course, you'll always have people who love AT&T's coverage.
 
Well I originally meant in comparison to other carriers, at least in my tastes. I haven't had a problem with coverage so I guess I'm lucky. What provider do you run through?

Wilson Electronics. Get an indoor repeater and booster, and you'll have all the signal you want.

I have their boosters installed in two trucks, one camper and one car. I rarely lose signal. When I do... Im literally in the middle of nowhere.

att love the service and i have the sont 580i hate it im on my third they are to fragile get insurance but can only make one claim in 12 monthes or they kick you i used it twice hince third phone
 
My cell phone broke today and they say its my fault and won't replace it... :q:q:q:q... I don't want to spend $500 right now on something so dumb...
 
verizon has good service and excellent customer service just dont get the storm
 
i have an LG Shine with AT&T but i think all them fancy phones that do everything plus wash your balls for you is rediculous. a phone is meant to call people. computers are for typing and television is for watching. i make calls on mine, thats it , this whole electronics universe is getting WAY outta control.
