I'm looking to buy a couple and read great things about the Goodyear ComforTred's. They have a very nice rating on Tirerack.

The Mastercraft's that came on my 20 spokes still have decent tread left but from what I found out yesterday they are no bueno. I have Goodyear intergritys (Taken from my old 10 spokes) in back that suck balls but still have 8/32's left so I can't get rid of them.

What i'm looking for is a good all season pass tire that can handle it's own in the back of a Mark during the winter. (So I might get out of buying dedicated snow tires this year) ;)

The ComforTreds have outstanding reviews and it's ratings are very very nice.

So what do you run and do any of you have exp with the ComforTreds.

As soon as I saw you post I knew what you were going to say. Anyways, do they make MT Snowgripper 3000's still?

I'm not sure how well they would do in the snow, but I've got Goodyear Eagle GT's, and I think they've been great. They're a little cheaper and they have a really cool tread pattern. lol.

Also, no matter what you get, check out www.discounttiredirect.com. Their shipped price is usually a little cheaper than TireRack. They have a higher initial price, but the shipping is free.

I was just using tirerack for info, not sure where i'm going to buy from yet.

I definitely recommend discount tire. I've used them the last couple times I bought tires, and haven't had any issues with them.

Also, you may want to wait for the next major holiday. They usually have some sort of rebate, or VISA gift card. I think they had a $100 gift card promotion for the memorial day weekend. July 4th will probably be a good one if you can wait that long...

Thats what i've been leaning towards. One of my friends works at a local tire joint and told me that all the employees go to discount tire. Kinda funny.

Thanks for the tip on the discount. Was it 100 for 4? 50 for 2 typa thing? I can probably wait but they're really annoying. Tires are one of those things that I absolutely hate spending money on, but at this point it comes down to just wanting the wheel madness to be over with.

I have old ass firestones from 2004 on the rear 20 spokes and bridgestones on the fronts which I used in the winter..not sure of the exact model but they worked just fine in the rain/snow and rode smooth and quiet on the highway..granted this last winter was very mild here but still in the snow it drove fine for what it is..

BF Goodrich Pro Touring is what I have been running and I had them on the black 94 too. They're quiet and grip good but I couldn't tell you anything about snow. I can say they are top notch in the rain. 225/60/16 and I bought mine from Sams.

ran a set of bfgs like no limit has. did pretty ok all around. never got stuck anyway. inch or two of snow was all they saw.

kumho ecsta asx's are pretty good wet/dry tires, but i was less than pleased in the snow. still didn't get stuck though.

most all season tires are really 3 season tires anyway. for winter grip you really need snow tires.

Go with the goodyear comfotreds just bought 4 brand new 1's from discount tire on friday and put them on my 98. Smooth ride, quite tire.

That's good to hear. Thanks!

They don't come int the m8 size, not that I saw anyways.

I emailed this person in my area because of the wheels he mentioned. Most likely chrome 10 spoke but he never replied to show a pic of the wheel. I really don't like Michelin but all around, sounds like a good deal.

Not a bad buy at all.

I had coopers on for two summer's, great at first and slowly got louder and louder. I pulled them off at about half tread because I couldn't stand it anymore.
