I used a pocket knife with a 3" blade and started at the front end of each moulding and cut and pried... I WOULDN'T do it that way again but all I had was a pocket knife.

I would go get some windshield cutting wire and use that to cut the adhesive... they are simply attached with double sided foam adhesive. Note there are 3 pins the will get in your way as you pull the wire through to cut the adhesive... when you hit one of those just lift the moulding and slide the wire under it.

The reason I went on the trip was to meet Mafioso and Tiff and Tommy in person and go to the strip.... the junkyard was a fun side trip.
 
I want to hear more of the dragstrip...... R/T.....ET... time slips....comon break um out. :D
 
The first timer KK was the only one to turn on the win light in round 1.

I went .485 red in round 1 bought back into round 2 and went .491 red.
First TNT pass was a .556 light and a 9.74.
Dialed 9.74 in round 1, redlit and ran a 9.69
dialed the .69 in round 2, redlit and ran a 70sumthin.
<---got my butt kicked..lol

Brandon did well.
He spun his first pass, had a crappy light and crappy ET
He semi hooked his second pass a 2.30 60 foot and ran 9.84

Glen Stone 17 ran 9.32 in TNT and ran 9.24 against Brandons round winning 10.01 (HIT THE BRAKES GLEN!)

Glen dialed a .24 in round 2 after taking the "buy back walk" with me..
in round 2 he ran a 9.19 on a .24 dial in with me again SCREAMING HIT THE BRAKES!!! from the fence.

had a great time, lost every chance I got and paid for a chance to lose again.

first TNT you ran a 13.08 (this is from memory) spiing to the '330 and getting chastized by a 13 year old girl at the time ticket booth for "almost losing it"..haha

second TNT you ran 9.84 witha 2.30 60'

round 1 you ran a 10.01 when you beat glen?

your RT's were .68sumthin and .8 I think?

I smoked some "anti redlight" which I need to return because it's defective.
Didn't work...


now with that said..
Usually when I dont go to the track for awhile I cut really bad/slow lights
when I cut that .550 right out of the box, I knew I was in trouble.

Some days.......I dont know how long it would take for me to find the tree.
Last car I ran was a gaget car in prostreet, that was 10 years ago.

usually between day time TNT and night time eliminations my RT historically has fallen .030 so that .556 light should have turned into a .520 as darkness fell.

BUT.. I made 3 passes in january, and 4 passes last friday night.
I will say this..
It AINT like riding a bicycle!

when I went to the track in January ALL three times I rolled thru the beams trying to stage the car..(hangs head in shame)

I'm turning into a n000b again....*cringes*
