Congratulations!
You got MOST of the world beat by just ~showing up~ at the track!

More air in.
More fuel in.
More exhaust out.
Empty trunk.
Soft rubber tires.
There's a second off your time right there :)

Again, congratulations Bro!

He's right. Most people quote ETs but have never been to the track. The track is a sobering experience for people who think they have a fast car.

yeah i know, i live for the track. i love going. i had a 99 F150 with a 5.4L, it weighed in at 5015lbs(got that from the texas motorplex, they have a scale) and at the same track with hotter air ran a 10.3?@67mph. i need to take it to ennis(1/4) since that thing pulls on top end. :L

Hey, you're .14 ahead of when my car was stock! :D Good job, man. It'll get there eventually. What were your 60' times like?

Here are the numbers from the very first time the car was at the track (in the August heat) and all stock:

R/T - 1.062
60' - 2.473
330 - 7.012
1/8 - 10.700
MPH - 66.91
1000 - 13.887
1/4 - 16.590
MPH - 83.48

Speaking of the track, I need to get my ass back there before it closes. :(

my 60's were 2.44's. today i am getting an H-pipe and hopefully a custom made CAI. i work for a plumbing company and i took some fittings to make it. i am starting to get some mods done to it. :L

That's about right for a stock LSC. That's as low a 60' as I could get before putting in the 4.10s. lol The 4.10s dropped my 60's into the 2.2 range with the AOD and stock converter. A set of stickier tires got me a 2.14 60', again with the AOD and stock converter. Gears, shift kit and a converter will REALLY wake that car up. So much so, that you'll need better tires out back. :)

Anyways, good stuff. Nice to see another track fiend around here. :D

Make us proud! :L

I always thought my '91 LSC would beat my '93 Mark VIII in the 60 foot before I installed 4.10s in the Mark VIII. I just never could figure out how to race two cars at once!

well i have alot of plans for this car. this next weekend i am getting an H-pipe, then i will get some flow masters. then it will get heads and intake. all the way up to a 347 stroker with probably turbo and nitrous. i plan on building this thing and getting it into the 9's in the 1/4 :steering . i know what yall may say, but i know this is gonna take money and time. :L

BTW: it will go on a diet too.
