Found a good Gen II and an interesting Gen I at the local pull apart this weekend.

Got the complete engine out of the Gen II along with the front/rear bumpers, headlights, grill, original dash mounted cd player, rear neon, driver side seat frame, and blower motor harness. pretty stoked!

Got the spring conversion of the Gen 1

Glad pops was with me to lend a hand.

Should have got more pics of the pinto, it was almost mint. wasn't nearly as cool as the yellow 70's big block ranchero with the matching camper shell

Yeah. And in what looks like decent condition. It may sound crazy..in fact it really does sound crazy...but I'd drive the heck out of a Pinto as a beater to drive to work and back for the gas mileage And for the Rear-Wheel-Drive.
