I have a 98 LSC and my father has a 97 LSC and when comparing brakes mine stops alot better when hitting the brakes than his does. The dealership told him they thought the rotors might be "glazed" over. He has had the slave cylinder replaced but to no avail. I replaced my front rotors and pads about a year ago but not the rear. Any ideas anyone?

Thank you,
Brent

Glazed rotors and/or pads. My Mark had glazed rotors and cracked/glazed pads. The pads only had a few hundred miles on them but since the rotors were glazed and he didnt turn/replace them the new pads glazed right away.
I bought new rotors and ceramic pads and it was like night and day. Car stops much better then it ever did, still not the greatest braking though. These stock brakes are just too small for a car this size.

I think all of us who have gotten the R1 Concept brake products have been happy with them.....at least I have......and I am pretty hard on brakes.

Bleed them and flush with new fluid then see how they will feel. I think you will be suprised.

thanks

Thanks for the suggestions...I am forwarding the info to my dad and the glazed rotors sounds like the problem and will also bleed them.
