Love your pics! I have the same light parchment interior and I wish mine was that clean. What was your process in detailing the inside?
Thanks man.
Well, I didn't go crazy on the interior when I cleaned it. It was pretty clean already. I gave it a good vacuuming and used Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer to get the dust off and shine up the woodgrain.
I will tell you my process on keeping the interior clean.
I use Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather cleaner/conditioner on the seats, dashboard. If it gets dirty enough, I use Lexol leather cleaner.
I normally hit the seats once every month or so with the Meguirar's conditioner. It may sound like an overkill, but I like to keep the seats fresh. Once in a while, when I put on a coat of conditioner, I turn on the heated seats for about 10 minutes and let it soak up the conditioner into the leather. In between the so called "scheduled cleaning" I run over the seats with wet terry towel, then a dry one.....just to get the loose dust off.
For the rest of the interior (the woodgrain, chrome trim, all of the silver, cluster etc.) I use Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer. I clean it all once every 3 weeks.
As far as the carpets go, if I get stubborn stains on it, I dilute Simple Green by adding water, and that usually takes care of it. If it's something minor, I use Meguiar's Gold Class Car Shampoo and Conditioner for the carpets/floor mats.
And, I try to vacuum the interior once a week. That's about it.
The time intervals that I have set, have been working out great for me and keeps the interior looking clean. This way my interior looks the way it does in the picture all of the time.
