Want to build my 2004 LS, need advice

That's because there are no headers for the LS. I believe it is Stainless Works...but they make Jag headers that work with some modifications.

If you bought an LS with the hopes of going the performance route you're going to be really disappointed.

They are actually thunderbird headers that ls and jag guys try to use. Dont know if a jag guy has actually installed a set of those, the set i bought from them was the first on that forum that was to be installed, but it never was. It's about time an ls finally got them on, now to wait for the results

I am interested to see just how bolt-on they are. Hopefully they bolt up to the engine and fit underhood just fine with a little work to make the stock catback system bolt up to them. That would be my ideal.

And VVT = Variable Valve Train. Honda calls it VTEC, Ford has a new one called TiVCT, etc etc. It means the cams have a adjustable profile. Whether or not this needs to be modified or disabled for boost (Turbo or SuperCharger) depends on what you are doing. That's all we were talking about.

Keep in mind he has the 3.0 v6. I'm pretty sure only the LS and a couple Jags had this engine with RWD layout (can't count the Noble since it was TT) so it is not likely anyone makes headders for this car. The one-off custom piece required would not be worth the cost.

EDIT: Still waiting on some pictures Haze...
