I know the speedo is controlled by the vss sensor located in the front. When you change the size of your tires 2 an offset size how much difference can u go before it screws the traction control? The set of tires I was planning on would have a 1.4 inch difference between fronts and back tires I'm not sure what exactly happens but I'm told if you turned the traction control off the problem goes away. But in getting prepared for this what exactly does happen and does that 1.4 inch make a difference?. I don't have my programmer that I could have changed the tire size on can't afford it yet which would solve any of those problemsbut blue oval will be helping me soon but with then new motor my old parts the transmission new gears etc when I get out of Hospital next month no Been here since October

I hope you are driving and feeling the air flowing by soon. On my car, I have 55 aspect fronts and 60 back. I believe the height difference is about 3/4 inch. I have seen no codes or screen warnings, but the speedo is off slightly. Good luck.
