Volts Gauge

Wondering who has one and how they wired it up. My aeroforce tech gauge doesnt have it. And it is one of the ones i am most concerned about.

You run the signal lead to any 12V "ignition" source. The best places are from the ignition switch or the fuse box. If you run it anywhere else, there will a small change in accuracy due to volt drop, but if the system is charging properly that should be no problem.

When I did the gauge panel in my car (for ECTA racing) I ran a #12 lead from a switched source in the trunk fuse box up to the dash area. It feeds everything aftermarket that's attached to the panel, including the AutoMeter voltmeter. Wired hotside to the lead and ground to the roll cage.
