I have 2 1993 mark VIII's and both had the same problem one after another and that turned out to be a recall on the control switch and what happens is you keep blowing your #11 fuse and you are stuck in park unless you turn the key only part way and then you must start it in nutueral and also your hazart lights will not work and brake lights also, now what will happen is if you put in a fuse to big you can burn up your wire harness and even your whole car because the switch will also leak brake fluid in a hard area to see and it goes unoticed most the time,so this is what happened to me I keep trying to change my fuse and it keep blowing but the one time it didnot blow my wires started burning and I had to pull the fuse(or the battery cable)and on my other 93 the guy at the shop put in a 20 instead of a 10 and burned up my other wire harness, but luckly the dealer(al pamonte)took car of both of the cars and replaced the wire harness also,so guys before you have this mishap bring your car in for that recall,it don't take that long unless you have a 93 then it takes more time but well worth your while,I am posting this because when I kept blowing my fuse most here couldnot help me they were saying it was a short in a wire in the trunk and etc,now my cars are both fine, and the dealer took good care of me,had all the parts in stock now,so don't wait get there yesterday

Translation

I have 2 1993 mark VIII's. Both had the same problem one after another, turned out to be a recall on the control switch. What happens is you keep blowing your #11 fuse when you are stuck in park unless you turn the key only part way and then you must start it in neutral. Also, your hazard lights will not work, no brake lights either. Now what will happen is if you put in a fuse to big you can burn up your wire harness and even your whole car....

Punctuation will get you far. It was very hard reading that....

No cruise control here! :D

No dealer gonna touch my car. Ever! (chicken can though - he's special :p)
