Okay, I'm fed up with searching through the old threads looking for the COMPLETE set part number for the valve cover gaskets. I know I've seen it before but damn I can only handle so much reading at a time before my head hurts!

Does anyone have the full set (to include plug well seals) part number for left and right sides??

Thanks

You notice a few GOOD threads like that are highjacked into arguments over 2-3 idiots.

Fighting over if our suspension is called a strut or a shock. Idiotic arguments like that just take away from the site

those part numbers are for the v8's right,
does anyone have the kit number for the v6's or do I have to pick all the parts from the fiche individually??

gaskets

The v-6 numbers are ( individuals) XW4Z-6584-Da..r/h and XW4Z-6584-EA l/h plus you need 2 of the XW4Z-6C527-BA gskts for the "s/plug area" as well as the XW4Z-6C519-BA and CA for the bolt grommets. List prices are $11.72 for the "EA" and the "DA" is $11.91. The 6C527's are $8.55 each and the "BA" grommets are 6.88 each and the "CA" are $5.40 each. Without knowing how many of each of the grommets you need it would be hard to total the price for you. The gaskets would be $30.44 for the 4 of them and then $4.75 each for the "A"(BA) and $3.73 each for the "B"(CA) grommets in the picture.

Sorry to bump an old thread! Was doing some searching this morning under the hood, checking out some things decided to pull a couple of plugs. Plug 1, no issues, Plug 2, SOAKED in oil half way up the cylinder. So much oil came out that it formed a small puddle on the ground when I removed it. Anyways ordering the valve cover gaskets from Fordpartsgiant.com, however I see several threads mentioning that seals and grommets do not come with the kits? However, fordpartsgiants.com lists a few different part numbers for the seals and for the grommets, can anyone recall which part number it was for the seals and grommets, and how many I will need of each? 2004 V8. I appreciate it greatly and apologize if it was in a thread I missed while searching.

Anyone on this? I'd like to order the parts as soon as possible... thanks again.

Google may be. But I'm not interested in Fel Pro. Anyone else on the oem part numbers or the amount of seals ill need. Ford parts giant has 3 diff part numbers for the seals and I'd rather not have to order and return stuff

So I ordered the parts for this and they are coming tomorrow. I will attempt to complete this myself on both sides on Monday. I printed the tech article, the torque specs, etc. Any tips when doing this job to make it simpler or things to watch out for? I've never done anything like this so I'm nervous but excited to see if I'm capable.
