So something has bothered me since doing my UCA's, they make noise where they mount to the strut tower. If I tighten them enough to shut them up then they appear to bind when I swing them by hand. Are the bushings supposed to twist or are they supposed to rotate freely on the bolt?

Whats the torque specs?

The Torque spec is 65-88 lb.ft.

They must be tightened with the car weighted.

Thanks mang, thats my problem I bet. I tightened them down with the car up and it just couldnt go down any more after a certain ammount. Then I loosened them up and they are just too dang loose now, I would say 10lbs if that. I will have my friend drop off his 18mm wrench before I drive home to be on teh safe side.

ill just the a jack stand under the car to put weight which also help installing the ball joint to the spindle arm
