Thanks for the nice comments.
Yes, It's actually very easy to replace the speakers. I used JL Audio 5 x 7" Evolution XR series components. The woofer fits in as it should, but you'll have to devise a way to mount the tweeter in it's location. Mine are just mounted to a piece of plastic in the stock tweeter location.

Yeah this is probably one of the easiest cars I've ever had to rewire and install... it's nice how little bolts and screws you actually have to mess with... I have a couple ??'s... one how much would it cost for you to make a couple of these... I was thinkin of something custom like my signature initials... something down that line... also if you don't want to do this what kind of occupation gives you access to this kinda of equipment... would a sign maker be able to make one of these with a plotter?

I'm in the Navy and I work at a Repair and Maintenance facility, so we've got a full machine shop, including CNC machine, metal lathes, milling machine, laser engraver, welders, etc. I made these out of laser engravable plastic. You pretty much "design" what you want on a computer program like Coreldraw, and then "print" it out on the laser engraver. If it were my equipment, I would have no problem making some for you, but the guys that are in charge of it and know how to use it are very stingy with their time. They always act like it's some huge favor that they're doing for me.
It's really not a cost issue, we've got all kinds of materials, it just sucks getting the guys to help me.
