i was just saying that just because its less expensive doesnt mean its junk - and the argument is that it will wear out faster? it has a lifetime warranty?! has anyone actually bought a brand less than TRW and have it crap out on them or is it just all hypothetical? because there not that hard to install uninstall -
Maybe that Hummer owner disconnected his sway bar! Lol.
True, these arent the best handling cars around, but they can be made to handle reasonably well. By today's standards, these cars are not THAT heavy - think Shelby GT 500! Besides, from a safety point of view, disconnecting a sway bar is bad news - makes car difficult to control in a swerving maneuver.

gotcha, it was designed to be hooked up. i agree that I have to get them and hook them up - ive established that. I also read the car rides better without them being hooked up but thats niether here nor there.

well put. i guess no ones gone with a different brand of sway bar links on here. and to clarify moog is the same as TRW right? because dude at the parts place was telling me there was TRW for $96.00 a pair and some TRW subsidiary (i didnt get the name, they would have to order it) for $47.00 a pair...
Not sure what Moog and TRW's association is. Some of my parts said Moog on box, but TRW on the actual part. From online reading, looks like TRW fell apart, and its various divisions got sold off.
Moog are well known and reputable, owned by these guys:

It could be the case that the new TRW auto parts company supplies a certain part (like the arms) and Moog supplies the ball joint - (these guys are well known for ball joints)
