um......wow....

that looks like crap... and come on... show ready??? Then why is it all of the batteries in the back don't match? Not going to win any points with that hold-down set-up either!

BARF

One thing I liked was the "Lincoln" "mirror" in the back that lights up

just when i thought it couldnt get any worse than that " certain" mark viii that i wont mention..

well,.. i dont know about worse.. but definitely just as bad !!!!!

fo shizzle yo. i'd drive it, i wouldnt tell anyone itsmine though, but i'd hop around in it and beat on those pumps a little lol. hell, i'd even drive it in a dr. dre video lol.

"aint nothin but a G thang baby, rolling in a pimped markviii cuz im crazy"
i never got the 13" wheels, a guy i worked with (maintance man) had a crown vic that he threw some 13" spoked rims like that on, but they "went on hard" then the car wouldnt move, cuz the rims were too small and the stock brakes wouldnt fit inside the rim, so a impact gun got them on but with the caliper dug into the wheel the car only drug the front tires

Oh well. As long as it's not mine. Hate to be driving down the road and real car people thinking what a retard....

I guess though there are some retards out there that would like it.

You guys are such haters sometimes...that cars mint...to get creative and do that 2 a mark viii is nice to see...just because not everyone has cobra rims go fast parts doesnt mean its not a creative car...id buy it if the price was reasonable...14000 id rather hang myself...but i give the car a 9.5 its good taste with the white...

I'm not a hater... I'm just being honest... Want me to be a hater?

Okay... On top of the batteries not matching, the hold downs are very utilitarian, not show at all; looks like some crap I threw together in my garage just to get my by till I had time to make something nice. He didn't mention anything about an upgraded alternator... so the question is, will you be swapping out alternators every oil change? I do see a quality die-hard battery under the hood (serious here... they rate better than optima), but he says low miles and it's got 85k on the clock; that might be lower than average miles for the year, but it's not LOW MILES. Looks like he used welder cable for his wire in the back on the pumps; this certainly is not show quality... hell, it's cheap quality. He's got junk preamp feeds; they should be twisted pairs, but instead they look like some crap that he picked up in an "amp install kit" from walmart. His subs are essentially mounted free-air; yes he's got decent quality, but due to their mounting, they aren't going to perform anywhere near as well as they could in a custom built box. Not to mention, they aren't even centered the way they are mounted. Instead of going with a double din in-dash LCD, he half-a$$ed it with a single din and a generic mounting kit which has a distinctive bow to it. His switches are HUGE and tacky, and are impossible to put away.

All told... it's not impressive; it looks like some crap someone just threw together. The only shows this car would win are weekend gatherings at the local ghetto quicki-mart.

These cars with hydraulics are not my style, but I can appreciate quality workmanship... unfortunately, this isn't quality workmanship.

I understand what your saying its "pimp my ride" quality...but when was the last time you saw a mark on drows...thats mint i never thought of it when i went to "fast bags" mabey cuz hydros are illegal here...but its a unique way to look at the car...and the switch box...10 switches is kinda hard to hide anywere i have the exact same box but mines bluey clear...it is impossible to hide in that car but w.e adds to the look...im the only one in my area with a markviii let alone a custom one...i just think it deserves more respect then your giving it...

Okay... how about this...

A for effort...

D- for execution.

The sad thing is, didn't he list the stereo and hydraulics as being a professional install? I could easily do a better stereo job than that, and although I know virtually nothing about hydraulics... I think I could have done a more visually appealing install. (maybe I'm thinking of a different ad)

I'm not a fan of big tacky things sitting out. Aren't those switch boxes electric controlling hydraulic valves? If that's the case, there is NO reason for a switch box to be that large; I could put it into a box about half the size. There's nothing appealing about a huge box with switches that looks like it was thrown together by a 5th grade science class. I'm just saying that almost everything I see could have been done with better style and class... that would enhance the vehicle instead of detract from it. (fiberglass switch box, smoothed out and painted to match the exterior with momentary micro switches is just one example).

But I said it once... I'll say it again... I love that back-lighted mirror; if there is one thing about this car non-factory that was done well, it's that mirror!

Otherwise, the car itself appears to be mint. But those pictures aren't all that clear either.

It's not my style. However I don't think that it's nearly as bad as some others I have seen. The guy likes hydrualics & spokes. That's just his thing, I think it was done pretty clean. The car isn't all smashed up or anything like that.

It's not for me & I think 15k is way too much, However there is a buyer for everything out there somewhere.

Well to tell you the truth...a 10 switch box is as big as it is for a reason...when you have 10 switchs that function as to in one and up and down switch...thats 20 wires you need to cramb into the box...when your using 10 or 20 gauge wire a peice how are you going to cut that box to half the size...theres a reason they sell it the size they do...and a reason why they sell 8 switch boxes smaller or 6 even smaller a 10 switch box is made that size for a reason...

I said I'm not familiar with hydraulics on a car... but... I know electrical...

10 or 20 gauge wire? You do realize the difference in size between the two is pretty substantial right?

As the gauge goes down, size increases...

Anyway, the problem is the size of switches they are running... they're using cheap components. You can run micro switches as I said previously.

Were it me, I'd run double throw micro switches and 20ga wire (plenty large enough as the signal wire to a relay) to relays which would activate the hydraulic valves. This would allow you to fit 10 switches in a box no larger than 5"x2"x2".

Lets be serious here, do you really think there is no other options in this day and age? Hell, anyone who's good with electronics could easily set-up a push-button system that doesn't even use switches.

It all boils down to cost... you can pick up large double throw switches for about $0.85ea... high quality micro switches will run you close to $10ea...

dude sure push buttons would be sweet...but the whole idea of a control box with a long ass cord is to stand outside of the car and hit the switchs...pushbutton is some pimp your ride :q:q:q:q...some people like the classic look not everyone wants new tech...10 or 20 gauge my bad went 10 or 12 im not to sure whats in my box...and if you really wanted to hide it when the popo shows up get the chick to throw her purse over it ha worked many times...but what not theres not use trying to make you see the creativeness of the car if your going to sit there and pick it apart...some people got different tastes...

No I see the creativeness... it just could have been done better... and I'm throwing out ideas here that are different... every switch box I've ever seen are unproportionately large...

What if someone had a smaller one... done with more style... hell, if you had the money you could make a touch screen controller... Tell me THAT wouldn't get all the attention? Of course that would take a decent amount of knowledge in electronics but it could be done.

What does hiding it from police have to do with anything? Last I checked having an adjustable suspension isn't illegal anywhere...

Accually they do make touch screen controllers tells ur airpressure in each bag and you can control the pressure by screen...but anyway...accually hydros is illegal in canada...you can have your car taken away and be fined...and accually a car in motion can be fined also...thats why i hide the switch box you cant be in motion while on the street...and obviously a box isent wires to only work in park :shifty: hence why i don't need the questions along with the turn your wheel all the way to the left and then to the right to check for rubbing...i don't need that bull$hit...
