I am thinking about putting a turbo on my v6 02 lse

does anyone know if I can buy this?

another question, quik do you think we could supercharge it?

you can supercharge or turbo anything, it's all about money, time, money, fab work, and money

I have what I think is enough money saved

about 6K total I have planned for all the things I want to do to the car

so where do I start?

not to tough really.i have the turbo and the hotside piping ready for my 2000 v6 manual, just need a few odds and ends and itll will be on, just have to be financially patient right now due to my other car having issues. throw a bottle on it, its much easier.

want more power but dont want the bottle :)

I have cai, getting exhaust, and also sct

so next step is ??? I am thinking turbo is

for starters, your going to need more fuel: fuel delivery (fuel rails, fuel pump injectors, maybe some fuel lines,) your also going to need hot side piping and boost side piping, FMIC, a properly sized turbo, oil lines(for turbo), MAF sensor, welding supplies, AFR guage, wideband o2, a few bolts and matching nuts, a plan, someone to tune it. these are just a few of the things that i can think of

hell you might even need a clamp or two

and dont get too heavy in the boost or you are gonna need pistons, rods...

BTW with all the money you will spend making the LS faster, you could make that 3 valve really fast!

yeah sounds like a lot of money/work but I got the money, I think.

I cant think of how else to get the power I want with this car

with this car its very hard, are you even going to get the power you want, if not i would spend it on the pony and use the ls as a DD

:I Put it in the mustang...With 6 grand you can get the pony upto 400hp or higher.

Take your $6k and your current car, trade it in on an 06 LS. You would get to keep the car you like and it would be quite a bit quicker...

sure wish I would have picked up an 8 instead of my 04v6.... oh well.

This is the closest someone has got to forced-induction on a V6 - a belt-driven-turbo. Shilo is working with the same guy I did Goeff from Boosthead.com.

Yeah, but we have not heard from shiloh, since before winter of 08 and his setup wil be for the 03-05 V6 only.

thomas knight almost gave me one of those setups a few years ago. i just never followed up on it. i hope it works. he also offered me the electric setup

If u have money u can do it. Go to an experienced shop and find out how much they'll charge u, to do it... or keep saving.

Unless your willing to risk damaging your engine, I would go to shop where "hopefully" they have a clue as to what they are doing and set you up with something that meets your needs/wants and is safe for the car. I'd find a performance shop that uses SCT.. for obvious reasons.
