hahahah someones playing the waiting game :p

Holy ****!!! That 1-2 is naaaaaasty :D:D. Pulls a little bit harder and no more speed limiter. Lonnie ftw

did you do the jmod or just firmer shifts in the tune?

how do you get a tune in email? what programmer do you have?

you just give him your email, and when he's done he emails you the tune via attachment and you follow his instructions that he gives you. takes like 5 minuets

^^
And if you don't mind me asking how much was the tune?

125$

did he remove the torque management deal?

no idea. i didnt ask and he didnt say. all i know is it shifts fast and hard :D

probably low 14s in good air. im a stall or a cobra intake away as its sits now.. i hope

6500 1-2

6100ish 2-3

i should. i still am having fun with that mean 1-2 :D

That's interesting - I have a stock W3Z2 ECM in my Mark and it shifts about 6700 1-2 and 6350 2-3. Personally, I think it's slightly too high, but when I get the exhaust done (it's stock dual LSC, but I'm gonna eliminate cats and go to dual 2.5") I'm wondering how much of a difference it will make.

I'm gonna get custom fit some long tubes & installed the high stall converter at the same time. I'm kind of excited! :p

Probably both. If you do both I think you'll definitely be there. Those shift points will need to be raised with the intake swap. Good luck man. You'll also find that headers will help make that intake "complete the circuit" efficiently. Its tough to run 13s all motor with a Gen2 unless you have covered all your bases. You gotta be aggressive with the bolt-ons and give it some rpms. Do what Doug and I have done. These cars perform fairly consistently with the proper recipe if you use the same cookbook.

I would absolutely love a set of kooks but 900$ is just too stout. I'm holding out for John Temple to come through with a cheaper option

For sure man. It's a tough pill to swallow. A set of LTs would be great. You can check out Edge for converter options that are reasonably priced. My CircleD was some coin but I know Edge converters are also very durable. Buddy has one in his 300rwhp CVPI. Last I heard their single discs were $550 shipped compared to the $800 I spent.
