Tundra tried to race me.

Poor Housten Texas.......btw anyone ever notice that when you look at a map or globe of the USA that Texas kinda looks like the USA's butt?....food for thought.....
Anyways I'd rather not drive all the way to texas I don't need to prove myself to some truck driver. Understandably there will always be faster vehicles than the LS.....and just driving around the city and racing someone at the lights...isn't official.....so really I'd rather enjoy the fact I'm 22 and the LS is my first car. especially since so many people can't even afford an LS...even in the current state of the Economy

yep, always someone faster just got to live with it. There was a 10.5 viper at the track one time, got it to the high 9's and was bragging like a mofo, until a gallardo rolled up and put do a 9.34 and the lambo was "broken all day" too haha on his 9.3 run he lost all coolant at the end of the run, was towed back. Yea you can say well thats a lambo vs viper, I'd take the viper cause its cheaper and yada yada, but still. I would take the viper aswell just cause I have wanted one for awhile but if I could get a Lambo, let alone one that hits 9's and probably 8's next time I would.
it IS official, it's officially stupid, illegal and dangerous..
take it to the track before you kill someone.
Hell maybe not, seattle probably aint even big enough to GET an LS up to a dangerous speed..(grins)

I know why you dont like Texas, because your "career of choice"/"rubbing oil on men" wont fly in texas, and I'll agree, you wont find many men who'll want to lay down and get "rubbed on", specially by some guy called Pete.

It happens.
I wasn't pickin on the Tundra. I hate Toyota but that wasn't my point. It was kinda a surprize but thinking about it not really. Again it wasn't a big 4x4. It was short low and pretty nimble.
friend of mine has a 240 Z with a 383 in it.. his daily driver is a tundra with a 150 shot on it.
it's pretty damned funny watching that thing roll out from about 40MPH!
and for "not to proud to admit it".
you should hear the story about the Kid in the 4 door saturn that approached me wanting to race.. he was even wearing a domino's delivery shirt.
I beat him badly the first race.. his WOT switch didn't fire
the second race he beat me by like 10 cars
it was a RIOT

Someone mentioned that there is always something faster. I agree completely. There are also people that get their panties in a knot and say the LS isn't a sports car or isn't fast in general. My opinion is that the speed of the LS compared to other cars is really not the point. But, someone that can take a stock car and turn it into something much faster is always cool. Deep pockets can always win a race but there is less honor in purchasing speed straight off the dealer lot than in creating it on your own.

I only got approached to race at the track a few times. Best one was a Maurader with CAI and Tune.
He was like wanna race me, I agreeded. Few minutes later he asked what I run. He was like crap. I thought I was a sure win. Beat him like 5 times. He did get his best that night with some coaching by me. After that he was fine with losing all nite.

Who said Washington is all city? Just I know live/work in the city so there really is no point and no one to actually have a legit race.
As far as Dangerous speeds...you do know that even 35mpg is a dangerous speed.....hell that's the average speed of most MVCs. And scrutinize my career all you want, my career keeps my healthy, active, I get to help people, and make an honest living.....so go ahead and bash my career....at least I have one :-D
Btw, what's with the Tampon obsession you have? I laughed at your "balding" remark, haha!
