Trunk Speakers and Amp

This cord is wierd but it was a power or "ground cord" i believe because it was made out of copper.

One end was screwed down on a bolt holding the enclosures up, and the other end of the cord was screwed on the bolt that was holding the amp to the enclosure, but it was touching the amp.

So that might have been your problem.

pic?

I dont have it actually attached to the amp but it is where it is suppose to be screwed in.

Are you talking about the cut out where the harness wire is going or where the ground cable is going. Because if your talking about where the ground cable is going all it is, is where the bolt goes to mount the enclosure to the trunk. its not a seperate cutout just for the wire.

Hey, are the speakers and amp still for sale? I believe by the pictures the speakers are mounted right under the rear window and the amp is on the floor right behind the backseats. Is that correct? My LS doesn't have anything for speakers in the rear only the doors. I do have an Alpine stereo and a wiring harness back there so I'm thinking these will work. I can do a little more research if these are still available.

Thanks!

people look at the damn dates of threads! damn!

They are mounted in the trunk below the rear deck shelf. I have a box and maybe speakers in the garage still if you're interested. It even has the bolts attached to it still. I'll check in the morning for sure, just PM me.

You have to wire it from the back of the radio. The plug is in the trunk, like stated above, but it is not connected from the radio to main junction connection under the dash on the left side. I had to run fours wires from the back of the radio to the junction connection and that runs to the rear of the LS trunk.
