What you see going on right now with deportations is largely theatrics, it looks tough on camera and looks like Trump is doing something so his frothing at the mouth supporters have something to cheer on again.

FunFact: If Trump were actually serious about affecting illegal immigration in any meaningful way, he'd rollback the jackboot ICE agents deporting people in relatively small numbers and set up a task force of desk jockeys and lawyers to legally go after the mega farms, construction, janitorial and hospitality industries that hire illegal laborers by the hundreds and thousands, so they in turn can profits in the millions and billions off the cheap labor. Reduce the available jobs to illegal immigrants, and they won't come.

But Trump won't because the heads of those corporations are his friends and associates and part of the wealthiest class and they need millions and millions of illegal laborers to keep their overhead down and their profits up. So he'll deport less again, while claiming he did more and Trumpers will believe because he said it.
 
The Point (since your Trumper brain always skips over it): Trump's not really serious about illegal immigrants, they make him and billionaires like him wealthier. It's theatrics so you people cheer on with slack-jawed admiration. If he were serious, he'd go after the people who hire them in the thousands. No jobs for illegals, and they won't come or stay.

Just like Trump drones on and on about bringing manufacturing jobs back to the US from China and Mexico, but most of all his products are made in China or Mexico because it keeps his own overhead down and profits up.

^Trumpers often resort to the "both sides bad!" argument when even they can't fully defend something terrible Trump is doing or did. It's just a distraction, never be fooled by it.

The Israel-Iran war wouldn't be happening if Trump had left the 2015 Iran Nuclear Deal in place. This is the fault of Republicans and their unrestricted support of the warhawk and criminal Netanyahu in Israel, who needs continued wars so he can stay in power and keep the indictments at bay.
