It could be your ECM. It always find the weakest part. You mention you took out your BOC chip. I did the same thing with a JET chip, I got all kind of codes for different parts failure. If you have a spare one I would consider it.
ok guys going on a different tack . have you taken the time to check your electrical wiring for possible damage. michale (94m5) and i had problems with the blue 94 before we installed the 5 speed. come to find out a mouse had taken resident in the trunk and heater vent and was eating or sharping his teeth on the wiring harness. could also be a chaffed wire . worth the time and cheap. also easy to do with an electrical meter. one of a list of possible problems. just bought another set of manuals for the mark as our old set disapered into never neverland.
Never really thought about the ecm being faulty. Im more than willing to try.
As for the electrical system im gunna ask a buddy if he wants to help me.
