OK, I realize this could be a thousand things, but you guys were spot on helping with the a/c problem i posted a few days ago, so just wanted to see if there was a common problem you all knew about. Here's the deal, this has been happening for the last 3 weeks. Go to start the car and it just cranks, over and over without firing. I thought it was a ground because the fuel gauge was jumping to full while trying to start. Next I checked for spark, nothing. Checked fuel pressure, almost none. So no fuel, no spark. Came back a few hours later, started right up. Two weeks later, same exact thing, left overnight, started right up! What do you all think? Gonna have to get a diagnostic probably, just thought I would check. Thanks.

Another possibility is the pigtail (two wires w/ connector) that goes to the crankshaft sensor. Next time it exhibits a no-start condition, crawl underneath the passenger side of the car and unplug the crankshaft connector which is underneath the a/c compressor. Then, plug it back in and try to start it again. THIS worked for me and narrowed it down to the pigtail, which I simply ordered from the local auto store. It is a Dorman part and very inexpensive.

Your results may vary, and this may or may not be your issue. I am just commenting because I had the same type of situation. I would imagine you can troubleshoot the camshaft sensor in the same manner. It is forward-facing and in front of the driver's side valve cover by the power steering reservoir. This would obviously not determine anything though if one of the sensors itself is bad but it is worth a shot because the harnesses can and will fail at times.
