So I hope to also install my trans cooler but was curious about the hoses. Should I cut the return from the radiator and use hose clamps to attach the hose to the trans cooler or do I have to flange out the pipe some so the hose dont pop off? IDK how much pressure is in it and if I can just clamp the hose on the metal hose I cut?

Just clamp it to the hose with a fuel line clamp or two regular hose clamps. You could swell the end a little bit if you want though. But the high pressure clamps should hold on their own.

On all my coolers I have flanged the tubing and double clamped the hose onto the tubing for added safety.

Probably cause they don't make a factory line to run from the stock cooler to the aftermarket add-on one.:D:D:D And back to the tranny. :D:D:D:D:D:D

I had too sorry. :D:D:D

He has to learn how to install a hose properly first..:p

i thought he was good at playing with hoses?:D You should be fine clamping it. I would double clamp it though for sure.

Also some people not saying u. But check the fluid level after install will require more fluid with the added cooler. Did you buy a cooler w/ or w/out a fan. Some people think it cooler to add a fan for the tranny cooler.
