tranny temp

I was wondering what would be considered an unaccepatable temp. for a transmission to reach....what would be a warning temp., you know, a time to stop driving it and let it cool down? Any advise is appreciated, thanks.

I don't like mine getting any hotter than 160F, but I like em to run a little cool. Someone else may chime in here, but any thing over 180-200 and your asking for trouble...
