Trading the LS for an LS?...

rsimmons 06s are going for like 16-18 where I live. I dont know if they will drop to 10 in a year and a half. Most 04+ with average mileage are not even 10 yet. I am sure it depends on where you live, but a decently equipped LS with 60000 or less in miles is still up there in price. they have already had their big drop from 45000 in the first couple of years. Cars usually hit a point where they stop losing so much value.
But I hope you do find a good deal on one. And who knows maybe I am wrong and they will be going for 10 soon.

Yeah I should have mentioned I'm guessing I will get like 3k for mine so 13 minus 3. I looked on autotrader last week though and they had a few with 40-50k without nav for the 13's already. There is one with like 23k and loaded for 18.

Do it Lucky_Ls!

If and when I do the car trade it's going to be in Feburary or March. I'm going to have at least one of my credit cards paid off by then (the one I used to fix the overheating problem with my current LS...) and it will be time for my car insurance to renew. I'm hoping for a lower rate by then so everything good to go for LOOKING seriously into a new car, LS or not. But, an 06 LS is close to the top of my list.

What year is your LS?

06 Got it a year ago yesterday with 9K miles has around 18k now.

How bad is the 'lag' from the throttle by PCM? Having an 02 to an 06 you know the 02 goes (if you want to call it 'goes';) ) when you hit the gas can you compair how bad it is from one to the other?

It's annoying to me. The car always seems to be in one gear to high. And it doesn't transition from slowing for sat a traffic light and back on the throttle again if it turns green before you stop. You get used to it and learn to drive it so it's not as bad. Eventually I'll end up getting a tune. I have the Mark to worry about first.

Rich88LSC you put it into better words than I did. It always does seem to be in one gear too high (not in SST). But as I understand it a tune alters that quite a bit.
