"Official LS of the Month Winners Thread" - It's not being used, it could be dropped.


Any chance of getting Joey to edit some of those links into the TECH ARTICLES under the LS ?

Drop some of those Stickies but have links in TECH ARTICLE page lead to those threads.

Have one new Sticky with a link to the TECH ARTICLE page.

I don't think we need to get rid of any other than the ls of the month, however the wheels 101, jag wheel fitment and lowering equipment could be consolidated

others are somewhat temporary such as national meet, calender, and spoiler group buy
 
13 stickies over 30 regular threads on each page of this subforum, no wonder no one ever reads them before asking repeat questions...

I agree with consolidating the top 1/3 of the forum into one sticky
 
It's a lot of work, there is so much valuable information.

A lot of it can go in the TECH page but then there is the problem that making sure people know about the TECH page, which at the moment most don't.

I'm sure there will there will be some "Tylenol Relief" eventually.
 
LOL, that would be a double-sticky and we'd never get it off.
not even with a heat gun. that would be a sticky situation.
 
I wi try to get of the stickies consolidated later. Few of them are only temporary. Most were sticky toward members from searching.
 
I think we should have a sub-forum devoted to just notable posts/topics/whatever and only have maybe a forum RULES sticky on the main forum.
That way there can be even more interesting and informative posts in the sticky sub-forum, no limit. Might even help with repeat posts that ask the same question over and over again. Just check the sticky forum, all the answers are there.

I think we're on the right track, but i feel like Wheels and lowering (and related items like tires and maybe even brakes) should be a sticky on their own...

Other mods like Audio just dont seem to flow there

My thought is. Keep all the topics for mods(wheels, brakes, audio, lowering, etc.) to one "stickie" topic with links to needed topic. One stickie for ALL of those topics. Which "new" members tend to search most for those mod type topics. Its all in one stickie. Doesn't take up any more space. Its one stop clicking.:)
 
Yeah that, one sticky, call it all you 'need' to know about your LS and just have it link archived threads in a FAQ basis.

What wheels fit?

thats much better bro, having one for mods, and one for common BS all lumped together still has all the major stuff that anybody worth a damn just joining should have no problem finding and reading on their own while still not taking up too much space for all the everyday visitors. before this thread, i was kinda wondering if it was getting a little out of hand. kinda defeats the purpose of having a single click shortcuts to the most visited pages when you have to scroll down a bit to see the most recent topics.


this works so much better!

Not sure if this is a good time, or accurate thread to bring this up, I wonder if the title of the forum should be changed.
I guess technically, the LS is the 'NEWEST' performance Lincoln....but that was 13+ years ago.
