Going up to Lebanon Valley Dragway to try and break into the 13's. If I dont the car is going up for sale on Sunday and Im gonna get a Jeep and put money into my Camaro.. I ran an "un-official" 14.3 @ 98mph down in Bowling Green KY before the radials, converter, throttle body, tune and new air box so Im hoping/praying to the car gods that I got this. She'll get a fresh oil change/filter and Im going to clean the air filter as well tomorrow morning. Launches quite well out on the street and even chirped third once, its a pretty constant pull, absolutely no delay in the shifts. Expect videos and pictures.

!3's or she's gone? WTF, kinda harsh isn't? lol.

3 tenths is a lot on the strip. hope you don't have to sell her.

what engine do you have?

500ci Caddy..

Im gonna try to only have a 1/4 tank while I run, its a 1 1/2hr drive tho so we'll see how that plots out. Ive thrown a good bit more timing at on top of what the Torrie had put in. I might go and pick up some Sunoco 95 to throw more at it but I think its all good right now the way she sits.

13.99 would make me keep the LS.

well what if you run a 14.01 with a 15 mph headwind the entire time your there?

I call BS on the selling.

Callin your bluff now.

Also I think it will run a high 13 anyways.

You should come up to NED, Epping, NH, it's an all Ford race weekend.

Damn, that sucks. Are you really going to sell it? What did you get?

Ran 10 times, might go back Wednesday cause the track go shut down early while it was still balls hot out, best time IIRC was 14.244@95ish.. I think I cut a 2.0X 60' on one of the runs as well but most were 2.1X.. Highest mph was 96 and thats with the timing maxed out as far as I can with the programmer. I post all the time slips later with full info. I think with cool air and the track hooking like it was I can grab at least a 14.1, we'll see.. If I still have it Wednesday Ill take it back up there.

I'm telling you those wheels are costing you time unless you used something else at the track. Should could pick up some stock 16" rims and put drag radials on the back and some light cheap tire on the front and all your times would improve.

damn, I need to search more before I talk, found this;

http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=58270&highlight=rims

I had every intention of using different wheels but everyone that I was going up with bailed so I couldn't bring the 17in spares to use as "skinnies"(non-racial term) and I don't need full on slicks, the NT05's perform flawlessly.

My time slips are scanning in right now but they are wicked light, gonna see if I can adjust it some how.

From the slowest to my fastest run.

Your 60' is not bad, but better wheels/tires could shave a little more, and a lot more in the whole quarter mile. I am not sure what to do to convince you that the stall and throttle body you put in there are not going to net you much, and the throttle body in-particular could be hurting.

I never did the twin blade off the S197's and I know those wheels are hurting me. The converter definitely helped. Ill go find my old times from Bowling green to compare 60's
