Well, I have finally decided to go to the track and see what the ole stock 94 can do! :D Very excited about it, going to be a 2 hour drive to I should get to it! Hope everything goes great and I can get in the 14's! Hey, it's possible! Well I will let y'all know how it goes! Wish me luck!

You are correct! Lol. Well guys, I knew what to expect from her, lol sure I was the slowest out there, followed by a new Tundra. Anyone guess what I ran? I know I did alot of things wrong. Ah well, I had a quarter tank of gas, a jack, spare tire, and bottle of preston antifreeze filled with water, 5 qt oil jug. Launched it at 1500-2000 rpm, had trac off and od off. Shifted manually, got out of first at 6400, and just let second go as far as it could.

Ha!! I wish...I am ashamed. =[

Then again, I guess it is the stock time for Gen 1's.

There's a lot of factors. Track condition, prep, miles on your car, launch technique and so on and so on. No two cars are identical. At least you have a baseline to work off of now if you ever decide to modify. :D If you ran 15s, then you're like the vast majority of stock Mark VIIIs. There's nothing to be ashamed about. ;)

I went today amd got a 15.4x in my stock 97. My off idle launch was worst fwiw

I got a 15.1 last year when I ran mine with original plugs and fuel filter. Had well over 110k on it. Want to make a run since I did filter, plugs and AF to see if it can break into 14's

I spun like a mf on all my runs. Some tires and better air and ill be in the 14s

157,000 on my fuel pump, guess it's still running strong? I didn't spin, instead, on my first I hopped, and on my second, I hooked pretty good. I think the j-mod would help, and lower psi in the tires, and all that junk in my trunk, would have resulted in a better time. if i left it out. Oh and less gas to lol, I had 107 miles to empty.

When I ran my 96' I drove it till it said 25 miles left. When I launched the car bogged hard and got a 17.9 or so if I remember correctly. At that time E-towns fuel pumps had been shut down (still are) and I didn't know where they were to get some gas

When I left I had to drive out to Rt9 with 0 miles left looking for a gas station. A bit stressing I must say

GET A NEW FUEL PUMP and FILTER asap!! Launch at IDLE, traction control and overdrive off, shift at 6100 lazy tach will have your shifts around 6250ish.

I used to run 14.9's all day long when I last ran my '93. Blasting the right rear tire off for about 100'

Geno is right, leave off idle, and flash the converter before you stage.

I am curious what my car will do this year w/ the 4.10/trac-lok/w3z2/cold air intake.

I expect 14.2-14.5 on a street radial

I'll be running mine soon against my brother's 3000GT (non turbo model). My Mark is all stock except for my new 2.5" exhaust. Should be fun, I've never ran before. I'll post a slip after I go.

What do you mean flash the converter before you stage?

fast or slow, man it's all about having fun!

My thoughts exactly :D

I'm in the 15's and my friend brings his stock GT-R with bigger injectors and a tune 10.6@130

At least I didn't get kicked out for not having a roll bar

Yeah how much did the GTR cost and how much boost and how much where the injs and the tune? LOL Money can run any time.
