I did the search dang it ! I narrowed it down...I think...

Today I was doing around 70mph....the engine reved to 3500 from like 1800 got off the gas then back on ....then it slammed back into gear hard enough to jerk my skull back.
It happened a few more times at different speeds today, engine revs goes nowhere then the tranny "catches" again.

Trans fluid is full and pink with no odor....so is it....

Converter shutter
TPS
Speed sensor
Accumulator Piston
Transmission saying goodbye......PLEASE HELP !

Is there any silver lining to this cloud ? No way it could be a sensor ?

The TPS can make the car do some stupid things but what you're describing, sounds more like something going on in the trans. TC going bad, shift solenoids, trans fluid pressure solenoid...

It needs to be hooked up and checked before too much $$ is thrown at it.

Just in case anyone has / had a similar problem...in my case it turned out to be the manual lever positioning sensor.
