throttle body

On a Gen II, I would think so. They are ALMOST the same. There would be no gain in doing so though. And I think the cables are flipped? All I know for sure is that I have a Cobra TB with a Gen II intake tube, and it fits! lol

i think i read it will fit the gen two but to make the cables work you have to bolt it on upside down, the linkage is on the opposite side or something like that.

A cobra throttle body would have been a little helpful when i did the cobra intake manifold on my 98. But i just ported my stock one. Like everyone said. the cable is on the other side. its like a gen 2 mark upside down. thats it.

Like exhaust. On a stock Mark breathing is not the issue, its the output thats restrictive. I am not sure if you have stock exhaust or not. If you do, then start there. If you have larger exhaust I would consider a larger MAF first.

i modified the stock LSC dual exhaust took off the 3rd cat and put on an X-pipe and some flowmasters in the back

Well thats still pretty much stock unless you increase the pipe side and swap out the manifolds. I would consider a conical air filter if anything.
