Just wondering, is the Marks throttle body the same as a cobra? Or is the cobra larger? Would a Mark throttle body bolt onto a cobra intake?

It is the same.. kinda.
The mark TB has a vent in the middle that goes to the iac or something to that effect. It is blocked for the most part by the gasket on the cobra intake but it could cause idle issues.
I think laser posted a pick with the two side by side once. I have an accufab otherwise I would take a pictue for ya.

I'm pretty sure they are close but NOT the same... at least on the Gen1.

The biggest difference I've seen is the Mark VIII throttle body is a progressive throttle design where one blade opens partially then upon further throttle cable travel the second throttle blade begins to open. On the Cobra throttle bodies, both throttle plates open simultaneously.

i know on the gen 2 it fits but you put it upside down for throttle cable linkage. im about to undergo the same project.

That is correct. Also remember, you need to extend the wires for the throttle position sensor because they won't reach but you'll figure it out. :D

immwaiting for you to do it for me. i REALLY want the one on ebay
will the mark throttle cable reach or not?!

You need to read DLF's thread over on LOD about his conversion. There is no more complete source for it on the net.
