I sold the Vic Sport today, so now the search begins for a new car.

I was asking ALOT more than the vic was worth, and decided if I sold it great, if I didnt I still had a cool car to tool around town in.

The past year I have had my eye on two particular cars (let the flamming begin!!!)

Marauder and SRT4 Neon (or insert simular turbo car here)

I basically had a marauder before so it wouldnt too drastic of a change to upgrade, but after test driving a few SRT4's last year I think id much rather have a fun little car to zip around town in.

I already have 2 Mark VIII's so if I want to cruise Ill just jump in one of those.

So now I will probably spend all day looking at cars trying to figure out what will work out best for me.

if you are going to go for a turbo 4 you should get something with all wheel like a subie or an evo, will work out well for a dd winter or summer

I really want a subaru, but they are uber expensive. evo is out of the question. i dont want a car payment.

The Neon would be desierable because it is easy and cheap to get big power and they are very fast cars. The big downside is the douches that normally drive them making it a douche car. Not all are douches but get grouped there cause of the car. Every time I see one I think "Hey I like those" and then watch the guy do some stupid manuevering or rev the Z06 at the stoplight (and I do mean the typical bounce off the limiter ricer rev) run red lights, cut people off.... its just always an idiot driving one. You want something turbo, AWD, cheap and fun then get a Legacy GT Turbo. 250hp boxer engine that is super easy to make big power from wrapped in a nice unassuming Legacy skin. :)

i loved that car. I saw pics of it on some other forum

Congrats on the sale. My boss drives an SRT-4 and is way too cheaply built. I have to admit that a legacy GT is the cheap and potentially fast ride that is ok on gas, too. They are dependable and built pretty well. Thats why i bought one for the wife.

Honestly I'd say the Neon SRT-4. I test drove that and a WRX. I liked the SRT4 much more! I think the SRT is a better platform to play with regardless if it's awd or not.
