Priced at $61,000 and $71,000 - the Lexus LS 460 and 460L are some of the most technologically advanced vehicles on the production line in the entire world - IMHO.

However. I don't think it is nearly as aesthetically appealing as the Lincoln LS.

I like it alot. I saw the commercial for the parallel parking and my jaw dropped.
 
seen all that i'd rather push a big benz than a lexus. lexus reminds me of toyota
 
thats amazing, the BMW videos is like your own personal valet service with the car pullin in and out of the garage for you... i still dont know if i would trust it goin in and out of my garage like that, i see it catchin something on the wall and scratching it all the way down the side or something haha
 
Have you seen the commercial advertising the new 8 speed automatic available in the new LS? I wouldn't even know what to do with 8 gears!
 
Comes with a 4.6 DOHC that puts out 380 hp. Has port and direct injection. 0-60 in something like 5.4 seconds, and it weighs like 4300 lbs. Still gets 17 mpg city and like 26 or 27 highway. Sounds good to me.
 
Whoop-ti-freakin'-do. If you can't parallel park your own car, you need to turn in your license.

And it's still an ugly tarted-up Toyota. :p
 
I disagree. Its a beautiful car. My god. The automated parallel parking is genius. Reclining rear seats, massaging seats, a fold out table. That is luxury.
 
These are wonderful cars, but it looks like an overized Camry, yuck!!

Give me a BMW over that anyday. I like HyeLifes idea with the BMW's.
 
An 8 speed transmission? Sheesh...seems like transmissions are ending up like disposable razors (add a blade every 6 months or so and call it the best ever, now they'll be adding a gear every 6 months or so...)
 
It is nice looking but as far as the parking thing though the local news here they did a pice on it and what the ended up saying is the conditions have to be so perfect and since you have to position the car just right that it ended up being quicker to just park it your self.

The hybrid version that is coming out is supposed to be even faster.
 
aye, it is an ugly oversized camry. and i would never trust technology to drive and especially park my 60,000 dollar car. not happening. and really 8 gears are too many. if only our LS had recieved the 4.6L with 300+ HP.
 
have u guys read up on the laser guided cruise control? It's like never having to drive again.. it maintains the distance u select from the vehicle infront... if he accelerates so do u.. if he decelerates.. so do u.. no more traffic dilema's.. the G45 has it too.. that car is pretty crazy also
 
really?^^ i didn't hear about that bangin ls but that would be nice so would the 380 hp v8 in my ls

Yea...that's about all Benz is good for anymore...getting pushed into the garage.



I would give up my LS for the LS460 any day, I went up to the LExus dealership ther first day they had one in...$80,000...but I still looked at it. That thing is absolutally amazing.

I just never understood why when Ford started to produce the TS50 in Autralia, that they declined an offer to bring them to the U.S. I might just have to import one of those over here. I wont ever move there; I hear gas over there is like $7 gallon.
 
From some of the reviews I've heard about the parellel park assistance, ppl didn't like it all that much. Said it took to long to park the car due to over correcting over and over.

mom has a gs430
dad has ls430
family truck is lx470
im the on with a lincoln llol
i still love my lincoln
my dad bought a ls400 brand new in 1994 and last year had 234,000 miles on it and still runnin but he sold it to get the 430
