Not to pretty ran like crap but she spoke to me .I think she said I'm a good car help.

Got her running good had loose spark plug, bad boots and now runs like a top. Theres a becontrols valve body recalibration kit and mercon 5 waiting now but in the meantime. We sent her out for a makeover.

Sorry to hear about the 1st Mark's untimely death.

The new one is lookin great!

Is it black? or did you choose a dark blue?

Thanks
Its black
I did purchase the other one back from ins. So if I find parts cheap enough I may put it back together.
But I have to many projects going on.

now I need some new headlight lenses
The windshield is on order .
Will need to pull the dash soon to fix the heat for winter too.

That black pops! Makes me want to finally get around to touching up the rock chips on my Town Car and polish it.

My advice for a black car: throw as much wax on it as soon as you can and only use touch-free car washes.

Anyway, you know the joke about Maaco paint jobs. What do you think of the results? How much work did you do and what is the total?

I'm happy with the results for the price
Comes with a 4 year warranty for $1100
I pulled all the lights and the windshield trim.
No body work just paid for extra sanding left the dents in it cause that where it gets expensive.
Also cant wax for at least 1 month
To let the paint cure.
And yes to touch free car washes as this is a single stage paint with integrated clear.

Theres a becontrols valve body recalibration kit

...a hwut?

After caring for my TC I will never get another black vehicle again once it's gone. Most of those "dents" are probably just manufacturing flaws. Wouldn't even notice them on anything other than a black car.

What sort of stuff have you read about the single-stage paint? What did you do to your rear window seal? Just tuck?

I did tuck the rear window gasket and trimmed some with a knife
As for single stage.
It was about price it's not as good a base clear but with the integrated clear for the single stage its sould be ok

I normally wouldn't cut the corners and top but I wanted the best paint coverage I could get
