lol 90's mercury if i know who that was i would not turn them in just because they said it was a mercury what an insult (jk). it looked in nice condition for someone who is stealing.

Good looking car. I think I can explain the name, as it has actually happened to me while looking for parts. See, when spoken too quickly, "Lincoln Mark VIII" can sound like "Lincoln Mercury" or "Lincoln Marquis." Say it out loud, and very quickly - you'll get it. For some journalist who probably knows poop about cars, I could easily imagine that simply being written and published.

Before I knew the correct pronunciation (from an American's mouth) of Marquis, I thought it was ''Mark Qwis'' Lolol.

Now I know better... :)

Funny you say this I took my mother out to breakfast this past Sunday and I drove my Gen 1. We saw in the parking lot a Gen 2 and my mother said "I like yours better, that one looks like a Buick" I just about wanted to send her to her room without breakfast! HAHAHA
 
Does that car have LSC bumpers?????? chrome looks good on the wheels.....wish mine were that shiney :(
 
after staring at the pic, it has octestars on it, sure its not someone from .org?
 
the gaps in between the spokes are large and the hub area is HUGE. and the hub area looks pretty round.
