Just wanted to thank the forum for its help. I was able to diagnose a no start problem and fix it by replacing the fuel pump, thanks to researching a couple of threads. I just bought this car for $400 and still need to fix an overheating issue. Looks like a leak in the water pump but we'll see. Anyway, again, thank you.

Thats great news! Do some more searching, there are a few things that you are going to want to replace in the cooling system. $400? Seriously if anyone finds my old LS please buy it or let me know.

BTW...as far as overheating....it's probably the degas bottle
Yeah guys. Seller wanted $1500, then $1000 then $700. Went to pick it up and it want starting. Tills him I'd give him $400 since it wasn't running.
Yeah, I've heard about how meticulous the cooling system upkeep is. And I'm probably going to start with the bottle. There definitely is a leak somewhere, as I could see the line I'd droplets after I took it around the block.
