Temporary Heat Fix HELP

I have no heat in my 97 mark viii...Ive read how to do the temporary heat fix, but i cant seem to find a way to pull the grey lever down. I have a viper alarm installed and there are a bunch of wires blockin me from getting to it. I took my glove box cover off and this gave me a little more room but i still cant figure out how im supposed to pull it down. If anyone could help this would b great...Its getting cold outside lol

its a 50/50 shot that moving the arm will work, the arm is attached to 2 different doors, if both of them are broken, moving the arm isnt gonna work, the shaft on the blend door breaks, and sometimes so does the grey arm too, if thats the case you wont get heat, you may have to just break down and fix the blend door right.
