I pulled seats out and carpet, shampooed carpet. Unhooked stereo for re wire. Pulled old trunk liner out and put a better one in. Also changed out my fan. The reason I did all of this was the stereo had some noise in it so I wanted to redo the wiring and decided to do the rest while I was at it. Went out this morning and started it a couple times messing with the stereo no problems. I put the carpet and seats back in a little while ago and now it just turns over, but wont fire up. Tell me I'm missing something simple please.

fuel cut off switch?

I'm an idiot! I've owned this damn car for 13+ years, you would think I would have come across that before. I went and looked and found the red button, pushed it in an problem solved. What set it off? Thanks for guidance.

right next to the air ride switch, its an inertia switch if you hit it, chances are you triggered it to shut off, push the red button back down if its popped up and you'll be good.

That was it, just curious what are some of the things that will make it shut off like that?

I had a 2 liter soda bottle loose in the trunk one time. Took a turn and the car cut off. Couldn't figure out for the life of me what it's problem was. 15 min of trying to figure wtf happened and right before I called for a tow truck a lightbulb flickered in my head. Yup, it was the button. :slam
