Teasin'

Yea I hear ya on the paying for the name thing!

I got magnaflow mufflers, tips, and x pipe. The tips you got look just like my magnaflows, but are probably half the price. Oh well - I wasn't sure what I was getting myself into and it was a decent deal IMO.

Anyways I am putting all that on and doing stock resonator delete. And yes I will be hunting for a shop to put it together here the next few weeks, there is a road here with tons of mechanics and muffler shops and all sorts of crap, I call it shady-lane, because I would not trust my car with probably 95% of them. I wish I could weld... :[

Oh and how does it sound? post a vid!

Here are a few more pictures I took real quick today before I left work. Enjoy :)

Mmmmmm gotta love a black LS after its washed! So clean, too bad it collects dust in less than 24 hours :[

Tips look great of course!

I would suggest getting one of the California Car Duster's. I keep one in my backseat and use it all the time! They work wonders and only cost about 15 bucks at Autozone

Interesting never really heard of that.... Surely that is not good for swirl marks I would imagine?

May have to try one out and see.

I can understand the concern people might have with it causing swirl marks. I use mine very gently and avoid using it when there is any heavier soil or dirt on the car. If used properly people shouldn't run into any problems. Its when people use force and think of it as a pseudo car wash that it could start to do more harm then good.

Maybe Pektel has some thoughts on them he would like to share with us?

I actually just started using mine again, because of all the damn pollen around here right now. Here are my thoughts:

Right now I'm just sort of testing it out. The duster is WAY faster than doing a wipedown with a quick detail spray. And, it requires less pressure than using a microfiber towel. Just make sure you only drag the tips across the paint surface. Don't ever apply any pressure. A good idea with a brand new car duster: lay the fibers on a newspaper overnight before using it on your paint. They load those fibers up with paraffin, and it can cause streaking on the paint surface.

I never use any of these methods on anything other than dust or pollen. Well, I do have a waterless wash spray that I use for bird bombs (any slight marring from removing it right away is light years better than letting the remains decompose on your paint).

So, I say yes, you can use one, but be very careful with it.
