Well looks like the tranny semi flush didnt help and neither did the anti shudder additive. After making 700 mile trip, the car still had vibrations about the same as it was.I do know however that it is the tranny and most likely the tc for the semi flush and additive did help for about the first 150 miles or so.Does anyone have info on a good T.C i can find? THANKS BUDDY

yeah thats what k9t8m said.Supposed to be around $400.00 i think he said.Do those hold up pretty good?I just finished looking at a art carr 12" and a 9" @ $529.00 and $699.00. How do you know if you want a 12" or a 9" ?

The Marauder converter will hold up well - they were built for heavy cars.

I wouldn't pay that for any Art Carr unit. Regardless, the smaller diameter converters are usually billet built and are lighter for less parasitic drag which is good for high HP ambitions. ;)

If you plan on building the car for the future, consider a high stall 9" converter. If you plan on a daily driver application, go with the Marauder converter. My 2 cents anyway. :)

So driller where can i find a marauder 9" with 3500 stall at a decent price?

marauder sounds like all you need, but circle d is good as well. Its what i run. call and they can custom order your setup as to what you want to do and how you drive.

I only paid 140 for a 2500 stall dacco brand new in the box from a local vendor. 500 sounds ridiculous.

Yeah, the Mach1/Marauder are the same and avaliable at BlueOvalChips for $175 I think and they have beenrebuilt with slightly better parts.

Whats the stall on a Mach/Marauder anyway?

I paid $350 from a member here for an Art Carr 3000 stall converter. I like it very much - although I did need to change the flexplate to a t-bird flexplate to get it to mount.

That converter has the EXACT same stall as our stock converters... they just have better internal parts.

BuddyL,

I have the stock converter I pulled from my Mark 8. I have no use for it and would love to have it gone... just pay for shipping and it's yours...

That was me glad your happy with it. I wanted someone to get some use from it. Instead of having to big of a paper weight
