hello, i am having trouble with tie rod ends and lower ball joints running out of grease and the boots splitting on my mark. I purchased a Monroe coil kit and 1.5in lower. thinking this was the problem i bought top line moog tie rods and raybestos joints but i am still having problems. (and these are polyurathane boots!!!) has anyone had similar problems and came up with a plan already? And yes she is in perfect alignment. Any advice is appreciated! thanks

Are you greasing them yourself? If so, what grease? How many miles you getting out of them?

the moog tie rod ends are on about 7,000miles and were about dry, the boots are showing a tiny rip on the inside. i just greased them with Traveller auto wheel bearing and chassi grease. the ball joint has almost 5,000 and it is toast. the boot is almost completly gone and it was bone dry. and the only ball joint having trouble is the right side. i also have a weird feeling in the wheel over dips and im thinking this may be causing it. the wheel will get light for a second at top of dip, then when the weight comes back down it pulls right.

also the ball joint is not raybestos like i thought. i dont know what it is. doesnt look like USA though seeing how its already dead

sounds like you put in dog sh-t parts! if its junk that soon you couldnt have put in something of quality, or you just bring the car over too many potholes and jumps which i cant see that being the case! order some new suspension parts!

^ Well I would not put it like that. But someone had to :)

Something is not right. Go TRW only. They make the goods for MOOG anyway. And the factory lower arms are TRW. Get a t-bird lower arm and it comes with lower ball joint pressed in. NOTHING TRW or MOOG sells will come with a grease fitting besides the tie rod ends. Grease fittings = bad crap when it comes to ball joints. The sealed stuff is made MUCH better. Not sure why.

And if you get "OE Brand". Good luck!

As for the grease. Sounds like you are using ok stuff. But I asked since certain greases can destroy boots and such.
