Hi guys, I know suspension conversion questions come up ALL THE TIME... and if there is a post about this already, please link me to it... didnt seem to really find it in a search,

but what brand conversions are out there?

I know the strutmaster which i have seen... what others? I have read about Koni, Bilstein, etc...

I dont believe Koni or Bilstein make a "kit" for a lincoln though, do they? Isnt it for the T-bird? And what to use in the rear for springs and shocks, the T-bird is no IRS from my knowledge is it?

Who makes the struts/shocks for the strutmaster kit? Can you just buy Konis front and rear and buy just strutmaster springs?

What other kit manufacturers are out there?

Im not doing this conversion know, but just for my knowledge for the future.

You can buy rear Koni's still. The Koni front inserts are no longer available new, unless you can find a set hidden somewhere.

Thunderbirds have VERY similar suspensions to the Mark VIII's including the IRS.

interesting.. have never seen the monroe one.

Does the strutmaster or monroe kits lower the car at all or is it stock ride height.
