I'm converting to coils to replace the faulty air ride and am still undecisive on what route I want to go. I don't want a soft set of coils or crappy shocks/struts up front. This is a daily driver in the summer but also a drag car at the track so I need the car to plant its feet firmly. I don't care about a firmer ride as long as the car gets out of the hole like it should at the track.

Up front: Tokico? KYB? Ideas?

I'm thinking about going with Vogland springs. Yay or nay?

The shocks in the back are fairly new, but are a set of medicore Arnotts. I could ditch them if need be.

Again, I want the car to launch well. The suspension needs to be rebuilt which I believe is what is hurting my short times right now.(Best was 1.94 and had a 1.99 60' on my 13.59 run ICK) Since I am going to coils, I don't want to end up worse off than before in the 60' department.

Suggestions?

Here is what I did.
I had brand new tokico illumina shocks for all 4 corners that I bought for my 95SC before I sold it and found a new in the box set of Eibach pro 1.5 drop springs for Tbirds on CL for cheap,a set of the Prothane 6-1709 spring isolators, I also have a set of rear bags that I bought for my SC http://www.summitracing.com/parts/AIR-60776/
and a nice set of spring perches to match the set up from DLF.
Shocks are set to firm and I have about 5lbs in the bags, go to around 15psi at track depending on the set up.
This is just one way to get it done.

Unfortunately, you can no longer get the front shocks, but rear Koni's are still available, last I checked.

I use the air bags in my SC, with mid 1.7 second 60's. H&R springs and Koni shocks.

I love the Koni's in the rear. Really made the care feel so much better. I strongly recomend them.

Mine are alwasy set 180* from the firmest setting and I love it there

Not many options in the front except to reduce weight up there. Most say wore out front struts are better to launch with?

The Koni adjustables shocks in the rear do help in my opinion. Crank them up all the way at the track to help weight transfer.

Think bushings and braces once you get past the lust after springs. ;)
